Troy Trovato is a Texas-barred attorney. Admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2024, he is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas and the United States Bankruptcy Courts for those districts.
Troy brings focused, hands-on experience in consumer bankruptcy law. He independently managed a high-volume caseload of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases. He drafted, filed, and amended petitions, schedules, plans, and motions while ensuring full compliance with the Bankruptcy Code and trustee guidelines. He conducted detailed legal research on federal regulations, counseled clients on debt-resolution options and asset protection, and efficiently resolved trustee objections.
Before concentrating his practice in bankruptcy, Troy worked as a Tax Associate at RSM US, LLP in Dallas. There he performed tax planning and research for middle-market private equity clients, conducted nexus analyses, and prepared multi-state sales and use tax returns. This experience sharpened his skills in regulatory interpretation, compliance documentation, financial analysis, and risk identification—skills he now applies directly to bankruptcy matters.
Troy earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2023 and his Bachelor of Science in Diplomacy and International Relations, cum laude, from Seton Hall University in 2017. He is known for his strong work ethic, clear client communication, and commitment to guiding individuals and families through the bankruptcy process with integrity and efficiency.
