It just depends, uh, if you want to keep that lease or if you don’t. If you want to keep it, then, uh, there’s something in bankruptcy called assuming the lease. And that’s something that’s noted on your case, that you want to keep that obligation and continue making the payments. Much like a car or mortgage, if you want to keep it and continue paying, you certainly have the right to do that.

But if you want to get out of that lease, then, uh, we do what’s called to reject the lease, and you’re finished with that obligation. You can move out or walk away from it, and that debt is discharged, or legally wiped out, just like your credit cards and medical bills, and and, uh, all those other debts.
