Yes. Uh anyone can file bankruptcy without their spouse. That’s pretty common thing that uh if one of the spouses doesn’t have any debt out there and it’s just all in the name of one of the spouses that the other one will try to stay out and keep their credit uh you know their record clean uh you know as many people say. So uh that’s not a problem. However, we just caution everyone that if both the spouses are on a debt, if only one of them files, then it’s that debt is only wiped out as to the person that filed, then the creditor can simply turn their attention and begin trying to collect from the other spouse that didn’t file.
